As an Associate Actuary within the Finance, Actuarial, Investment & Risk (FAIR) Audit Group, you will deploy our agile audit approach to assess financial risks across financial management organizations, including Prudentials international operations. You will influence our audit approach and contribute to the advancement of members of the team.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site
What you can expect:
Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key business partners.
Establish existing controls and the assessment of risks.
Utilize data analytics, control analysis, issue development, and other forms of testing.
Design reports on findings and present to key partners and management.
Stay up to date on emerging business developments, industry trends, and changes in the regulatory environments.
What youll need:
Bachelor's degree in finance & actuarial related disciplines.
Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Fellowship of Society of Actuaries (FSA).
Minimum 4 years of professional work experience in finance/actuarial areas
Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to articulate complex concepts.
Ability to learn quickly and solve challenging problems.
In-depth understanding of financial management in insurance businesses. Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the details.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.:
Experience in asset management and investment activities.
MBA, CFA, FRM, or other finance/investment related designations
Audit and/or risk management experience.
Project management experience.
Advanced data analytics and/or data science experience.
Public accounting experience.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $115,800.00 to $172,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
