The US Funded PRT Pricing team operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, customer and deal focused environment. This position plays a primary role in the execution of transaction pricing and infrastructure development for Prudentials rapidly growing US Pension Risk Transfer business.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Clean and transform large datasets to project liability cash flows and reserves
Analyze population and plan-specific experience to develop custom mortality curves and other liability assumptions
Execute ALM modeling and generate analysis of financial statement projections
Drive prudent financial outcomes around earnings, capital, and shareholder value
Contribute to improving existing processes by leveraging best practices and various platforms including Python, Excel, and SQL
What youll need:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other STEM field
Ability to rapidly understand complex quantitative concepts and financial projection models
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office-suite software
Strong written and verbal communication skills to illuminate technical concepts for broad understanding
Ability to juggle multiple urgent priorities with tight timelines
Itd be a plus if you had:
Passed ALTAM or equivalent life contingency exam
Working knowledge of Python (e.g. pandas, numpy, sqlalchemy, plotly/dash, xlwings) or other coding languages such as C#, SQL, and VBA
Familiarity with private US-based pension plans and/or payout annuity products
Experience with asset modeling including traditional fixed income, structured finance, and alternative equity assets
Knowledge of agile methodologies

The salary range for this role is from $67,500.00 to $100,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
