JPMorgan Chase Employee Compliance Designations Program - Vice President in Newark, Delaware

As an Employee Compliance Designations Program - Vice President in the Employee Compliance Designations Team, you will be responsible for ensuring Firmwide adherence to Designations governance and controls, as well as leading strategic initiatives to drive consistency and efficiency across all Designation related processes and systems . You will work globally providing guidance and oversight for Workforce Designation governance, controls, and strategic projects. This Team serves as Employee Compliance's central point of contact for all Designation related events and initiatives. Our diverse mandate means we also provide input on new business strategies, policies, operational processes, risk mitigation and controls. You will partner with various key stakeholders across all Lines of Business, Corporate Functions, and Technology organizations to execute controls and compliance adherence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate a complex program that impacts regulatory exposure for the Firm, which includes governance, controls, and project management.

  • Drive transformational business change through process re-engineering and joined up thinking with appropriate business and technical solutions.

  • Oversee the review, approval, and implementation of various Designation assignments to the Global Workforce.

  • Lead various Designations related projects, ensuring consistent and accurate approaches that adhere to enhanced governance requirements.

  • Develop and manage stakeholder relationships while keeping them engaged and informed of key issues, risks, and dependencies.

  • Create effective presentations and project update materials suitable for management.

  • Actively participate and collaborate in workstream meetings and ad hoc working sessions including driving agendas, preparing meeting minutes and keeping track of agreed actions.

  • Ability to negotiate and prioritize with strong influencing skills while helping the organization think both short and long-term.

  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by participating in firmwide and/or CCOR DEI activities.

  • Work independently and as a core team member, exhibiting strong relationship management and negotiation skills.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Compliance, Program Management, or similar relevant field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals.

  • Experience evaluating and applying policies and controls across various teams.

  • Previous experience in strategic and tactical initiatives: ability to identify problems, propose solutions and execute against deliverables.

  • Strong analytical, technical, and statistical skills. Ability to synthesize / analyze diverse information, develop recommendations, and make decisions.

  • Detail-oriented; with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking.

  • Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities, uses sound judgement, and navigates ambiguity to get things done.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.

  • Demonstrated leadership in applying analytics to solve business problems efficiently and pragmatically through structured problem-solving approaches.

  • • Project Management Skills -- well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint preferred
