Description

We are currently sourcing for Onsite Medical Customer Service Representatives for several roles with our client based in Newark, CA. These roles provide an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where exceptional customer service, accuracy, and compliance are paramount. The opportunity to transition to a full-time employee is based on performance and business needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to a high volume of incoming telephone calls and referrals.

  • Assist patients with scheduling, registering, and canceling appointments.

  • Accurately document caller information and route calls to appropriate departments.

  • Identify and escalate urgent issues or operational needs as appropriate.

  • Navigate electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure patient information is current and correctly entered.

  • Meet and exceed quality assurance and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Deliver superior customer service while adhering to documented protocols and guidelines.

  • Utilize reference documents and knowledgebase tools to communicate accurate information about services.

  • Manage multi-line telephone systems effectively and perform additional department duties as assigned.

    Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Experience: Base role: Minimum of six months of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office or call center setting. Higher level roles require a minimum of 2 years of call center and healthcare experience.

    Skills:

  • Typing speed of 40 words per minute.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle complex software systems and accurately input data.

  • Excellent active listening and problem-solving abilities.

  • Composure under pressure and respect for diverse patients and clients.
