MSCI, Inc. seeks Vice President, Senior Software Engineer in New York, NY to develop and test computer software applications, systems, or services. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: using ADO and Git tools to manage work and evaluate code required for products and features; coding in different languages, including typescript, Java, SQL and python to develop new products and maintain existing products; developing unit testing methodologies, including NUnit mock framework to automate testing; releasing management tools to manage build and deployment of developed features; and utilizing reporting tools, including PowerBi, to monitor product usage and create dashboards to understand user experience issues. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in one of the above-listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above-listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
