Digital at BlackRock

The Global User Experiences and Platforms Team is a fast-growing global function at BlackRock which seeks to engage a multi-trillion-dollar audience of investors, advisors, and institutions with our diverse range of investment products. We are at the center of a company-wide focus on expanding our footprint in the digital space and we operate at the intersection of design, technology, and data. We are constantly driving digital innovation across the domains of web, mobile apps, conversational AI, data models and analytics; while simultaneously driving their implementation, scale, and local adaptations globally.

Digital Marketing Analytics and Experimentation manager is part of the Global User Experiences and Platforms team within BlackRock and reports into the Head of Digital Offering Management.

As a digital marketing analytics and experimentation manager, you will drive data driven optimization of digital experiences and marketing campaigns across email, social, and web channels. You will work with marketing leaders to analyze campaign performance, derive meaningful insights, build strategy and perform experiments with a goal of incrementally improving digital marketing performance across BlackRock's business lines. You will partner with marketing, data science, and data engineering teams to build analytics roadmap that scales our analytics and insights capabilities.

As part of this role you will:

  • Build and communicate insights around digital marketing performance through data, visualization and story telling

  • Create and manage digital marketing dashboards that monitor KPIs and engagement

  • Develop and execute A/B testing and experimentation strategy to optimize digital experiences

  • Build strong relationships with global marketers and cross-functional partners to provide strategic advice on BlackRock's marketing performance and operational efficiency

  • Effectively communicate data-driven insights to CMOs and their teams that drive action

  • Engage with marketing stakeholders to drive a culture of experimentation and analytical rigor across the organization

  • Identify gaps in data and work with data engineering and platforms teams to resolve those gaps

  • Possess a broad base of skills and knowledge around digital marketing and the use of digital technologies, insights and analytics

  • Possess an entrepreneurial drive, while managing client needs and timeframes to broker complex relationships that evolve into real solutions

  • Conduct regular monitoring of digital health metrics, understand trends, and key performance drivers to uncover and communicate actionable insights

Your skill sets:

  • 6+ years of experience in a digital marketing

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, A/B testing and experimentation

  • 5+ years of experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Target, Optimizely or other A/B testing tools

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL, Tableau or PowerBI

  • Have a successful track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver great marketing experiences preferably in large multi-product B2B companies

  • Have a successful track record of working with digital marketing teams and helping drive product vision, strategy and execution

  • Have exhibited relentless customer focus, and enjoy being a spokesperson for customers and prospects. You are comfortable engaging business stakeholders on key challenges and working backwards with platform, engineering and design to find solutions

  • Have operated well in unknown and uncertain environments, and enjoy crafting strategy, vision and driving execution in a highly structured and methodical way.

  • Have experience and interest in working in highly challenging multiple-stakeholder environments and have the collaborative-reflex to bring people together to find a common answer

  • Have great awareness of web analytics and digital marketing best practices to move with speed without requiring detailed analysis

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, and the ability to interface directly with internal clients
