About the Job:

As a Consulting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering Utilities projects, helping clients navigate the complexities of digitization and grid modernization to accelerate their energy transition. You will work closely with project teams, product owners, and client stakeholders to resolve conflicts and remove barriers, ensuring deliverables are on time and meet quality standards. You are a visionary, unafraid to conceptualize next-generation solutions powered by artificial intelligence and automation. You constantly seek opportunities to challenge the status quo, striving for transformative change rather than incremental improvements. With a proven track record of building diverse, high-performing teams, you harness individual strengths to deliver groundbreaking insights. This role may involve managing a mix of Capco and client employees, all working towards the ultimate goal of delivering projects on time and within budget.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Identify and address client challenges, showcasing the benefits of transformation.

  • Apply business and functional knowledge in utilities to develop strategies using Capco’s consulting processes and methodologies

  • Lead the signing and implementing business operating models, including strategy, processes, vendor evaluation, tools, and performance metrics.

  • Lead projects and work with various cross-functional teams

  • Innovate and manage complex design challenges with creative solutions.

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • 5+ years of experience working with cross functional teams as a product owner or project manager in an agile and/or iterative waterfall delivery environment

  • 5+ years of experience in project scoping, planning, and scheduling, managing team members, and aligning deliverables to requirements for utility engagements

  • Identifying potential risks, analyzing their impact, and working on strategies to mitigate them and escalate as required

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills

New York Pay Range

$106,000—$140,000 USD
