Job Description

SUMMARY

Under the general direction of NA Assistant Treasurer, The Virtual Card Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the virtual card services of the US.

GENERAL DUTIES

The General Duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee the issuance and activation of virtual cards and department cards, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

  • Monitor virtual card transactions for security, fraud prevention, and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Provide expert support and assistance to clients regarding virtual card setup, usage, and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with the IT and security teams to maintain and enhance the virtual card platform.

  • Oversee the issuance and activation of virtual cards, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

  • Monitor virtual card transactions for security, fraud prevention, and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Provide expert support and assistance to clients regarding virtual card setup, usage, and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with the IT and security teams to maintain and enhance the virtual card platform.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of new features and enhancements for the virtual card platform.

Qualifications

COMPETENCIES

The Competencies for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of credit cards and merchant accounts

  • Ability to understand the credit card system (interchange, associations, card issuers)

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Outstanding Excel skills, especially with data functions such as lookups and pivot tables, to reconcile large volumes of data

  • Demonstrated ability to use data to support decisions

  • Proven track record of success in prior role, with the ability to outperform in a fast-paced, adaptive, fluid environment

  • Intellectually curious, with a thoughtful approach. Evidence of demonstrable problem-solving and analytical skills; strategic and creative thinking along with a ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Solid communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively across the company, with employees, business partners, and management

  • Good business judgment

  • An outstanding team player and manager who demonstrates leadership abilities, leads by example, accomplishes work through others, but is equally comfortable handling the detailed processes.

The Experience and Education qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Credit cards (especially virtual cards in b2b transactions)

  • Banking systems

  • SAP

  • Various Online Tools and Web Portals

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $100,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
