Traveling Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Traveling Project Manager to lead design planning and approval processes, coordinate with vendors and various stakeholder groups, and ensure quality assurance and customer alignment. This role involves managing individual project budgets up to $2M and is crucial for the deployment, implementation, and launch of delivery stations and tactical programs related to Material Handling Equipment, Automation, or similar equipment.

Job Type

This is a 6-month contract with opportunity for extension in 3-month increments up to 24-months or conversion to full-time based on performance and project needs.

Work Environment/Site

The role requires extensive travel, about 80-100% of the time, across North America to launch innovative delivery solutions. This travel is regionally based (west, central, east), with candidates needing to live within a reasonable commute to a major airport. Typically, travel involves flying out to a project site on Monday and returning home by Friday. Weekends you are off and the week you are not traveling will be remote work. Travel expenses are 100% covered; Travel arrangements can be made by the consultants themselves and expensed, or booked by the company. Total working hours are close to 40 hours per week, including travel!
