Responsibilities
  • Help define and deliver the FX Product Development strategy as a senior member of the FX Product Management team.
  • Ownership of the FX Post Trade domain, working specifically across the capabilities and processes that are supported by FX & Treasury Operations teams, including the initiatives and features that align to this domain in the FX Business Strategy.
  • Partnering closely with FX Operations to understand and document the current solutions and technologies used to support the FX Business. Identify a future state platform strategy for a more efficient and controlled FX Ops function.
  • Lead the definition of the product outcomes. Partner with the appropriate Product Owners and Systems Analyst in the outline of business requirements, in order to develop the product backlog and drive the roadmap using agile frameworks and tools into the FX Delivery Pods.
  • Inform the prioritization and execution of key strategic product initiatives and enhancements by partnering with key business stakeholders and technical partners. Understand cross-functional impacts within the Post Trade domain; Sales, Trading, MO and Operations.
  • Support the FX business by acting as ambassador for the foreign exchange and cross-border payments business, with specific focus on your product domain.
  • Define and own a set of highly visible metrics and be the interface between your product domain and the Technology Pods supporting delivery, with clear leadership on these measurable outcomes. Manage the progression of these deliverables back into partner team leadership (FX Ops, Treasury Ops, Treasury, etc).
  • Actively participate in all agile ceremonies that the Product Manager role is aligned to, and adhere to defined product delivery methodology.
  • Support all release and business readiness activities, including user demos, acceptance testing, and training. Ensure that there is appropriate transfer of knowledge from FX Product into support functions to ensure reliable future support of delivered features.

Qualifications
  • BS/BA Degree OR High School Diploma or GER with 4 additional years of relevant expereince)
  • 10+ years' experience in banking or fintech, with a strong focus on any of the following; Markets/Corporate Banking Products, Cross Border solutions: FX, Cross Border Payments, Payment Processing, Core Banking Processing etc.
  • Demonstrated interest in product development, technology, and industry trends
  • Scrum or Product Management certification(s) preferred
  • Experience with continuous process improvement methodologies preferred
  • Passion for driving toward an exceptional client experience (internal and external)
  • Exceptional data analysis skills and ability to take a data driven approach to identifying and prioritizing needs and delivering change and product delivery into data orientated platforms.
  • Very strong communication, collaboration, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, strategic thinker with deep intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to execute with an entrepreneurial spirit

If hired in CA or NYC the base pay for this position is generally between $191,887.00- $250,365.00 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
