KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A key research team member to the strategic growth of this laboratory's mission/vision, the Staff Associate I will advance medical knowledge and to translate it into clinically relevant strategies for diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic conditions. The incumbent will have active participation in clinical and/or basic research and should be able to compete for research funding.
- Laboratory management including safety compliance, equipment maintenance.
- Supply ordering.
- Patient database and sample management.
- Cell culture and functional assays on primary human samples and cell lines.
- Functional assay development in primary human samples.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in specific research field and 4 years of wet laboratory experience.
- Consistently strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with professionals in other disciplines;
- The ability to create a high-energy results-oriented work environment that encourages colleagues and staff to value each other's contributions; and
- The ability to share and celebrate success with colleagues and staff.
