KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Tax to join our Risk Management group, which is part of KPMG's Legal, Risk and Regulatory organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Content, Communications and Education (CC&E) strategic plan based on the Tax practice’s and RM-Tax’s strategic objectives, in line with Global, US, and Tax risk management policies

  • Work with the RM-Tax team in determining content needs and managing the flow of content to and from the field; Act as site owner for the RM-Tax’s portal website and work closely with the content providers to ensure that tax professionals have simple, consistent and intuitive access to relevant and organized RM-Tax policies, guidance, tools, contact information, and other relevant content

  • Serve as the point person in developing, coordinating and standardizing all communications from RM-Tax, including working with the RM-Tax team to develop content focused on delivering new or updated policy, announcing new tools and protocols, and providing other guidance or information needed

  • Work with the RM-Tax team in developing and/or updating training to be delivered to various groups in the Tax Practice, to provide required education and communicate new policy, as well as to close knowledge gaps identified by Service Line Risk Management Partners, QPCP trending analysis, and other sources of feedback; Develop and maintain a training calendar and an annual execution plan that includes a standard process for working with content providers within RM-Tax; Work with the appropriate teams to determine the optimal medium for delivering training and work with the appropriate groups to organize the delivery mechanism for each training course

  • Develop and maintain networks within Risk Management, the Tax Practice and across KPMG, including tax and industry subject matter professionals, to inform the continued evolution of the CC&E strategy

  • Contribute to the continued improvement of RM-Tax processes, materials, and tools

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience in tax consulting and/or compliance, knowledge management, and/or risk management

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

  • Progressive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels

  • Hands-on, independent and accountable management style; capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects
