Oscar Management Corporation Software Engineer in New York, New York
Software Engineer for Oscar Management Corporation (New York, NY). Lead technical efforts to support the design, development, and implementation of Health Insurance Claim software applications and systems. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer working on data applications and systems. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer working on data applications and systems. Must have experience with the following: Designing and implementing applications that interact with multiple internal services via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); Developing high-performance data services; Implementing backend systems for data tools and services; Providing comprehensive integration tests; Using continuous improvement/continuous delivery (CI/CD) deployment practices; Testing and deploying services for request processing and data storage into production; Utilizing database management systems, unit testing, and integration testing.
