Software Engineer (Citadel Enterprise Americas Services LLC - New York, NY); Multiple positions available: Design, develop, test and deploy next generation software solutions for research, trading and business operations across the firm. Work closely with business and technology leaders to define priorities and deliver technical solutions. Apply various algorithms and data structures to solve complex business and technical problems. Provide subject-matter, day-to-day support for software applications and their underlying infrastructures. Propose scalable solutions that scale horizontally across our organization. Utilize advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, as well as coding languages such as C#, C++, Python and JavaScript in order to write code that is readable, maintainable, and testable.Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience with platform and web development. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript; Scripting languages including Shell Scripting (Bash); Working with financial data; and Performing data modeling.We are offering a salary range of $175,000 to $275,000 per year.
