As part of the Shout-Outs team, you'll have the opportunity to own the design of major features from end to end, from the web UI and mobile app to the underlying services and data infrastructure. We utilize modern JavaScript based technologies such as React, React native and Typescript to deliver rich client side experience. Key job responsibilities
Lead the technical design, implementation, and delivery of Shout-Outs projects
Deeply understand and work backwards from customer needs, maintaining a long-term, strategic focus
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to build exceptional solutions
Raise the bar on software quality, scalability, team processes, and performance improvement for your squad

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full stack development experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
