Grow your career with an innovative global bank in New York City, NY as a Senior Project Manager with a focus on Deck Creation. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/University degree.

  • Experienced in project management and with sufficient Market Risk/FRTB subject matter expertise to be able to independently create executive reporting/messaging and provide meaningful project solutions to increase transparency and reduce implementation risk.

  • Strong & proven track record leading program management offices for large scale, complex programs.

  • Strong & proven FRTB knowledge.

  • Significant background in Capital Markets Transformation programs and Regulatory related projects (e.g., FRTB, Consent Order, MRA, MRIA).

  • Significant experience in scoping, developing and prioritizing plans for strategic initiatives.

  • Expert level PowerPoint presentation skills and experience producing senior executive and Board-level decks in short timeframes.

  • Experience working with internal and external audit functions to propose solutions and address concerns.

  • A solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance.

  • Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectives.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capability.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree.

  • 10+ years of industry experience.

  • Project Management certifications, e.g., PMP or equivalent.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Create high quality executive presentation materials at initiative and program level for FRTB, adjusting messaging to target stakeholder level, up to Board of Directors.

  • Lead change projects within Capital Markets to address regulatory, audit, risk and control and / or risk management issues.

  • Apply knowledge of Markets business and/or regulatory capital to help identify solutions and mitigate delivery risks.

  • Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships across project teams and front-to-back stakeholders, e.g., trading desk, finance, operations, technology, risk management.

  • Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teams.

  • Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs.

  • Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committees.

  • Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support the execution of programs.
