Insight Global Product Engineering Lead in New York, New York
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Product Engineering Lead to join one of their top financial clients in New York City. This individual will be joining the Technology Organization and will be responsible for leading and implementing new product and platform development across enterprise core banking technology. This person will partner heavily with the Lead Enterprise Architect to understand design schemes and architecture and will bring that singular focus to new code and development. Financial services/banking is a must have, with experience in lending or underwriting being a standout qualifier. Main technologies we are seeking are Java and Python, with strong understanding of API architecture and application deployment to various cloud providers. This person will also help partner with third party vendors and will strengthen existing relationships and in house modifications to integrated technologies. Due to the current status of the team, this role will require both hands on execution around development goals, and hands off leadership and strategy delivery. Long term, this role as immense potential for growth.

Skills and Requirements
-8+ years of within product and platform engineering
-Background in either Java or Python development
-Strong knowledge of API architecture and design
-Experience supporting product innovation, modernization, and redesign
-Strong understanding of different Cloud systems (Azure and AWS)
-Banking industry experience -- should have at minimum, functional knowledge of core banking services and offerings -Specific experience supporting lending and underwriting applications null
