Nomura Holding America Inc. Senior Principal Project Manager/Business Analyst in New York, New York

Analyze, design, test, and coordinate technological solutions for Nomura’s settlement technology and back office systems for OTC, derivatives, fixed income and equities. Work internally with various Nomura streams, and act as their subject matter expert and guide for vendor managed application changes. Gather requirements, create IT business analysis documents, and design functional rules. Test and coordinate releases across multiple applications. Define and develop strategies for change and release management, integrate new software solutions with existing systems, and coordinate with local and global teams for new industry initiatives, regulatory changes, and market changes. Manage strategic multi-year projects. Provide training to end users on new systems/processes, and offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance. Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology Management, plus five years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the position offered or a Business Analyst role.ORMaster’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology Management, plus three years of experience in the position offered or a Business Analyst role.*All of the required experience must have included designing, testing, and coordinating technological solutions in the financial industry using Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, Sybase, Linux, cloud platforms, SQL, XML, and JSON; understanding trade settlement instruction, trade confirmations, and maintaining stock position records; developing and implementing market connectivity applications Euroclear, Swift, TRAX, and Confirmations; conducting financial data analysis and building system design flows and system architecture for financial technology applications by drawing upon knowledge of derivatives banking products (equity derivatives, credit derivatives, interest rate, cross currency swaps, swaptions, and OTC derivatives including credit, equity, fx, rates), regulatory and compliance concepts, data quality governance rules; creating BRD, FSD and data flow diagrams; and performing project management, change management, testing, and quality control.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. #LI-DNI

Minimum Salary: 168,500 Maximum Salary: 210,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
