Amazon Senior Marketing Manager, Ads VOC, Global Ads VOC in New York, New York

Description

Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of digital display advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. We help advertisers reach Amazon customers on Amazon.com, across our other owned and operated sites, on other high quality sites across the web, and on millions of Kindles, tablets, and mobile devices. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising. If you’re interested in joining a rapidly growing team working to build a unique, world-class advertising group with a relentless focus on the customer, you’ve come to the right place.

We are seeking an experienced, self-driven, and independent Sr Marketing Manager to join the Global Voice of the Customer (VOC) team to drive customer-obsessed decision making in Amazon Ads and beyond. This role will own communications and marketing strategy for the Ads Creative, Trust, and Support (ACTS) organization as well as work across the Ads business to drive a deeper understanding of the customer experience with advertising.

At Amazon Ads, we value critical thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to deal with ambiguity. You will have experience working cross-functionally and will have an entrepreneurial approach to your work. You balance being strategic and tactical, and will roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You are an exemplary written and verbal communicator, detail oriented and have bar-raising problem solving abilities. We love people who innovate and use data to make decisions; who are passionate about delivering a great customer experience. You are encouraged to think big, invent, and take ownership.

  • Create high-quality, engaging communications across a variety of channels, including emails, FAQs, talking points, newsletters, videos, podcasts, announcements, and others.

  • Develop communication plans that think long-term, tying multiple communication mechanisms together into broader strategies.

  • Research, write, edit, and publish communications with a focus for quality, accuracy, and engagement.

  • Routinely measure and report out to stakeholders regarding the impact of communications.

  • Work quickly and precisely under tight deadlines, and prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time

  • Earn trust, provide sound counsel, and look around corners to spot emerging topics and develop proactive plans to communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to create multi-media content (written, video, audio, visual, etc.)
