American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is dedicated to the success of businesses big and small with the vision to be essential to our customers’ businesses every day. As part of GCS, the Commercial Co-Brand team is focused on delivering best in-class products and experiences with our retail and travel co-brand partners (Lowe's, Amazon, Delta, Hilton, Marriott). This team owns the card P&Ls to profitability grow our portfolio of products while continuing to innovate in how we design, communicate, acquire, and engage our customers.

How will you make an impact in this role?

This role is responsible for managing the Lowe’s Business Rewards Card. The senior manager will play a critical role in supporting the growth of the Lowe’s portfolio by driving product strategy, managing partner relationships, and focusing on how we acquire and engage our customers. The successful candidate will be an energetic, intellectually curious, customer-first analytical thinker with strong project management skills, clear communication, and have a strong attention to detail. Key responsibilities include:

  • Be a product champion and subject matter expert for the Lowe’s portfolio

  • Manage relationship with key partners at Lowe’s

  • Own portfolio strategy and driving profitable growth through P&L management

  • Optimize prospect and customer experiences by delivering on technical and marketing enhancements

  • Lead key strategic projects for the portfolio

  • Act as project manager to influence and work with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Servicing, Risk, Technology, Legal, and Compliance)

  • Occasional domestic travel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Product Management, Partner Management or related experience

  • Strategic thinker, able to convert strategy into clear, actionable tactics and bring initiatives to successful closure

  • Experience with managing relationships with external partners, with successful track record of influencing

  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills

  • Strong analytical skillset with ability to collect and analyze data/insights to drive winning strategies

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively to audiences at all levels

  • Strong organization skills with ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize as business needs evolve

  • Self-starter who thrives in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment

  • Customer-focused and desire to understand and relate to business owner needs

  • Adept in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong business and financial acumen and understanding of a P&L

  • Proactive and solutions oriented with strong positive attitude

  • Passion for learning with a creative and growth mindset

  • Experience in retail industry

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
