Wells Fargo Senior Manager, Integrated Communications Measurement, Strategy, and Insights in NEW YORK, New York

About this role:

Leading a team of strategists and analysts, this position will provide strategic direction to the evolving communications measurement, strategy, and insights program supporting Corporate Communications and Integrated Marketing within Public Affairs. Reporting to the head of Integrated Communications, this individual will assist in bringing a new level of analytical rigor to the entire department and a culture of data-driven decision making.

This individual will be an expert in omni-channel communications and adept at leveraging data and insights to align strategy to business needs. The candidate will have a strong understanding of the communications function and business operating model; experience in querying and summarizing data, web analytics, and statistics; a proven track record of shaping business strategy; and experience telling stories with data. In addition, the candidate is a critical thinker, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator who uses data over opinion to drive the business forward, with a proven track record of fostering strong cross-functional team collaboration.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a team of analysts and managers on daily reporting, measurement, and analytics tasks.

  • Conduct objective analysis of omni-channel data, measure against established business goals, translate them into actionable recommendations, and develop standard and ad-hoc reporting capabilities.

  • Proactively establish benchmarks and KPIs, measure performance, and glean useful insights.

  • Lead strategy and execution for communications knowledge agenda (reputation research, message testing, etc.) and serve as a team leader and culture carrier.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors/partners.

  • Prepare presentations highlighting capabilities, performance, and learnings.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and implement new approaches for effective risk management.

  • Act as a key day-to-day partner to leaders across Public Affairs, assisting in execution of program measurement strategies, reporting to the executive committee, regulatory briefings, internal reports, and presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience developing a communications strategic measurement and insights program.

  • Experience developing reporting capabilities that shape communications strategy and informs decision making.

  • Experience with social media, earned media, and digital media monitoring and insights platforms including CISION, Sprinklr, Adobe, etc.

  • Experience developing integrated iPESO and omni-channel communications strategies.

  • Experience consulting and influencing senior leaders, partners, and peers.

  • Experience leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working with multi-cultural or cross-cultural teams, including the ability to use data and insights to inform storytelling to diverse audiences.

  • Multi-lingual skills are very desirable.

  • 401 South Tryon Street - Charlotte, NC ($111,100 to $197,500)

  • 150 East 42nd Street - New York, NY ($133,300 to $237,100)

  • 1700 K Street, NW - Washington, DC ($122,200 to $217,200)

Pay Range

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
