CBS Sports Digital consists of some of the most popular and trusted sports destinations on the web:,,,, and more. We’re passionate about sports; from high school, to recruiting and college, to professional and fantasy sports, CBS Sports Digital has served fans for over 2 decades. For the past two years, CBS Sports Digital was ComScore’s 2nd largest sports property with 61 million visitors per month on average.

Role Details:

We are looking for a skilled senior iOS software developer with a natural inclination to elegantly solve problems. You will get the chance to take on complex and interesting problems as part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. We are constantly evaluating and adapting the latest and greatest on the iOS/iPadOS platforms and there’s always something new to learn.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Technical development, debugging, and delivery of best-in-class iOS native application

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

  • Continuously improve the application - find and fix bugs while improving application performance

  • Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

  • Evaluate opportunities to bring new features to mobile users from a technical perspective

  • Build strong working relationships with coworkers and company management

  • Contribute to the growth and knowledge of the development team through code reviews and team discussions

Key Projects:

  • Modernization of existing features in the CBS Sports app

  • Revamped soccer user experience

  • Implementation of new iOS features such as Widgets


What you bring to the team:

You have –

  • Strong experience in iOS development

  • Acted as key contributor to at least one publicly released native iOS application

  • Thorough knowledge of Swift and Objective-C programming languages, the iOS platform and Xcode

  • GIT and git flow familiarity

You might also have –

  • BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience integrating ad serving products and analytics/reporting tools in building iOS apps

  • Experience working with Agile development processes

  • Experience in consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL and Apollo framework to connect with back-end services
