Alkymi, Inc. seeks Senior Full Stack Engineer (Larchmont, NY) to coordinate work with the Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams in daily standups and feature planning meetings. Contribute to our backend stack written in Python and Django, with microservices running on the JVM and Node.js. Design and implement product features that combine aspects of our React frontend, with our Django backend and Kubernetes infrastructure. Deploy features onto a QA and Production Kubernetes cluster using a GitOps workflow. Develop and refine our best practices within the Engineering group. Mentor and on-board junior engineers. Telecommuting permitted.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related field and 2 years’ experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. Must have 2 years’ experience developing web applications and data pipelines in Javascript, React, Python, and Django. Must have 1 year of experience building asynchronous data processing pipelines using frameworks like Celery or Dramatiq. Must have 6 months of experience with: building REST APIs using Django and frameworks like Django Rest Framework (DRF); Amazon Web Services (AWS); relational databases like PostgreSQL; developing applications using OAuth2 or JWT authentication; deploying and working on JVM-based languages; building Websocket API over HTTP; deploying software on Kubernetes; building Continuous Integration (CI) and deployment workflows using Github Actions; and Event-Driven Architectures powered by Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.SALARY:$89,253 - $180,000 per year.
