You are:

A seasoned consultant with extensive experience supporting clients within the Wealth Management industry ecosystem (Investment Products and Solutions, Client and Advisor Experience, Platforms and Technology, Front/Middle/Back Operations, Risk and Regulatory). You leverage your experience to transform Financial Services organizations; working across the C-suite to capitalize on disruption, enable competitiveness, and drive growth and profitability via continuous innovation. T his is an in-office hybrid role; you will be located in our New York, Dallas or Atlanta office.

The work:

  • Lead business development and client development activities collaborating with Managing Directors and the broader firm, including the development of proposals, conducting presentations and being a partner to our clients.
  • Lead complex projects and ensuring successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement, including:
  • Own the project planning, risk, budget, process management, communicating progress to clients and A& M leadership.
  • Drive development of the content, either directly or by providing guidance to the consulting team (for example, by sharing ideas, frameworks or providing input on research and analysis).
  • Manage the client relationship on a day-to-day basis.
  • Managing project scope and maintaining an acceptable pace of work.
  • Oversee multiple client and stakeholder relationships and networking within the client organization in order to understand their needs and help to influence the client agenda.
  • Identify opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments.
  • Leading senior client presentations and meetings.
  • Identify and develop new client opportunities to advise companies on transformational change and capability building.
  • Identify gaps in the market and spot opportunities to create value propositions.
  • Lead and contribute to other A& M projects, for example by sharing expertise or best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property within the Financial Services Industry including improving methodologies, tools, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches.
  • Engage with Wealth Management macro industry trends, competitive dynamics and disruptors (fintech, digital, AI, etc.) to generate thought leadership and innovative new ideas to respond to evolving industry challenges.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to Director through Analyst level employees to help develop their consulting skills, including sharing knowledge and experience, giving frequent feedback, and creating opportunities for team members to learn and grow.


Here's what you need:
  • Minimum 12 years Strategy Consulting OR a combination of Strategy Consulting and industry experience supporting Wealth Management, FIG Investment Banking, Private Equity with one or more of the following areas:
  • Growth Strategy and Business Model Transformation
  • Performance Improvement/Cost Re-engineering
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (due diligence, post-merger integration, etc.)
  • Pricing and Revenue Optimization
  • Data, Platform and Technology Modernization
  • Innovation, Data & Analytics, Digital and AI
  • Seasoned leader with strong entrepreneurial drive, who thrives on intellectual challenge and understanding clients' unique circumstances and needs to support their initiatives.
  • Proven track record of developing new client relationships and generating business development opportunities that leads to successful client engagements.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and in-depth of knowledge/defined involvement in helping frame, design and execute solutions for challenging business situations.
  • Sophisticated executive demeanor, comfortable functioning at the highest levels of client organizations; excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

The salary range is $175, 000 - $275, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.
