Corporate Onboarding is one of American Express’ top initiatives and a core component is crafting flawless user experiences that presents a product offering to serve a wide range of Corporate Client structures. The purpose of this team is to modernize the onboarding process globally by leading with a product mentality to develop strong capabilities that support the customer and scale the growing Corporate business.
The Onboarding Capabilities team is a fast-paced & innovative team that partners with a cross functional set of collaborators including Sales, Marketing, Risk, Product, Compliance and Tech partners across the globe to modernize the onboarding experience. This role will focus on a specific capability pillar that is at varying maturities across markets with varying offerings.
How will you make an impact in this role?
In this role, the Senior Associate Digital Product Management will support development by breaking down new features into user stories and implementing scrum ceremonies in addition to analyzing effectiveness and seeing opportunities based on a product roadmap. The role will partner closely with cross functional teams to ensure efficient prioritization and delivery of the backlog.
Provide support for and/or lead core development projects within the Corporate Onboarding experience
Support requirement gathering and the creation of agile user stories and acceptance criteria
Complete scrum team planning and story prioritization of the product backlog daily
Lead critical post-launch analysis for the team’s core product releases, testing, and ongoing product performance and optimization
Partner closely with engineering and design to continuously optimize the UI/UX of onboarding capabilities
Partner closely with Product Managers to understand the business needs and provide ongoing updates on key work in progress
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Digital product development experience
Highly organized, detail oriented with a proven track record to handle multiple work flows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with and analyze sophisticated inputs, extracting key themes and messages to drive decisions
Able to effectively adapt under changing conditions and prioritize initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Strong relationship management and problem-solving skills
Understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Scrum
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred 3 years of digital product development experience
Familiarity with basic UX/UI principles
Level of curiosity about backend systems
Experience in matrix organizations and cross-functional environments
Driven, curious and diligent problem solver with a desire to learn, challenge the status quo and collaborate to make an impact
Passionate about delivering best-in-class user experiences, working with technology, and being an active contributor to the product culture at American Express
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Adobe Omniture, Tableau, and Invision a strong plus
Qualifications
Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
