We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Venture Team within our Enterprise Solutions Group in LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. Venture is the place where we inspire our customers to think about the power of LinkedIn as the intersection of work and life. The ideal candidate will be passionate about unlocking new demand and growing share of B2B and B2C marketing budgets from Media companies in emerging subverticals such as Publishing, Content Platforms and Agencies.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will take a collaborative approach to developing and delivering sales and marketing strategies, prioritizing growing business from new buying groups while your pod partner, the Client Solutions Manager, focuses on growing existing buying groups. The impact of the combined efforts and strength in collaboration will result in exceeding growth targets. You will drive results by forging meaningful relationships, engaging senior level marketers, and delivering customer value for both clients and agencies. Internally, we are looking for an individual who will contribute or our team culture and who prioritizes collaboration in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Identify prospects in net-new/underpenetrated buying groups and unlock new business opportunities through client conversations
Proactively perform client research and investigate industry-specific trends to create proposals and narratives that align with customer business goals and marketing needs
Command, report and forecast sales activity – from building a robust pipeline, to moving opportunities through the sales cycle, to closing new deals and renewals
Generate revenue and hit target quota and demonstrate accountability and a proactive approach around gap planning
Partner with sales managers, peers, and cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies and to collaborate on campaign activation to drive growth of Media business for LMS
Manage advertising agencies and direct clients and be consultative in growing client investment
Recommend LMS products and measurement solutions as part of programs that will help Media Customers win on LinkedIn
Develop Joint Business Plans and build Value Reviews with Key Customers
Engage and strategize with senior-level executives at VP, SVP and CMO levels to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue to their business
Fully embrace and foster a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in advertising, or marketing, or sales, or business development, and/or customer success
3+ media sales experience

Ability to story-tell with insights and data, applying key learnings to strategic recommendations that address the "so what", leading to next steps and new relationships.
Ability to achieve results by understanding the needs of the customer and connecting a customer’s pressures with business and product solutions
Ability to develop authentic relationships, removing pressure for key decision makers at national Fortune 1000 companies and advertising agencies.
Ability to accurately forecast and develop prioritized account plans to reach your book’s potential.
Experience building business cases and preparing media ads sales proposals.
Experience working with senior marketing leaders in Media companies.
Experience in prioritizing a book of 10-12 Parent Accounts.

The pay range for this role is $162,000 to $246,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
