Google Scaled Communications Manager, Agency, Platforms and Client Solutions in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 11 years of experience in sales, marketing, or sales education within the digital marketing industry.

  • Experience working with digital organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing executive stakeholder projects, influencing others, and delivering against timelines, goals, and milestones.

  • Experience dealing with ambiguity and taking ownership of initiatives from inception to completion.

  • Experience in a corporate or agency setting with executive communications exposure.

  • Experience with executive presentation, graphic design, and video production.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

As a Scaled Communications Manager, you are responsible for leading executive communications content creation to drive platform and media adoption. Your knowledge of technology and digital media trends combined with your communication skills and ability to be a thought leader will help shape our stakeholders and executives. This requires close partnership with different teams across Google, a keen ability to solve complex problems and a flexible, solution-oriented mindset. You will craft creative and compelling written and visual communications for a variety of audiences and channels. You will also be responsible for activating content across a variety of centralized channels. Tracking the effectiveness of your communications and continually iterating will be crucial for success. This is a highly collaborative role that requires someone who can work well with teammates and internal clients alike, influence at all levels, take feedback with grace and incorporate it quickly, and is willing to pitch in on projects outside of their core role to help advance the team’s goals.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$203,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead executive communications content creation to drive platform and media adoption.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to create compelling communication strategies that illustrate the functionality and key benefits of our platforms.

  • Develop and curate insights and thought leadership that focus on key scalable themes that address sales/customer needs. Core Activations include keynotes, narratives, client success stories, media interviews, and speaking engagements.

  • Advocate storytelling principles and exceptional visualization, enabling executives and sellers to elevate their customer conversations.

  • Activate content through strong, cultivated relationships with sellers as well as scaled channels including the connect sales newsletters, community forums, and more.
