JPMorgan Chase Risk Management- Communications Project Manager - Senior Associate in New York, New York

Join JPMorgan Chase's Risk Management and Compliance team, where your expertise will be central to maintaining our strength and resilience. You'll be part of the Model Risk Governance and Review (MRGR) team, a global group of modeling experts responsible for independent model validation and governance. Your role in the Chief Operating Office (COO) will involve streamlining communications, enhancing training programs, optimizing processes, and executing strategic projects. This is an opportunity to anticipate emerging risks, challenge the status quo, and make a real-world impact on our company, customers, and communities. As a Risk Management - Communications Project Manager - Senior Associate within the MRGR, you will be responsible for both MRGR communications and MRGR's training portfolio. You will distribute regional and global messages that impact MRGR, such as organization announcements, process changes, and updates to policy and procedures. You will also organize town halls and newsletters. In addition, you will work closely with HR on campus recruiting efforts and intern activities. Your role will also involve managing MRGR's training portfolio, which consists of various programs, learning tools, modules, and other resources that help upskill MRGR colleagues. These trainings are useful for learning basic MRGR concepts and practices, as well as gaining in-depth subject matter expertise.

Job Responsibilities

  • Crafting messages for regional/global communications and announcements.

  • Organizing content for quarterly town halls and scheduling meetings.

  • Coordinating content for quarterly MRGR newsletter and distributing globally.

  • Ensuring MRGR intranet updates are made on a consistent basis.

  • Acting as the liaison between MRGR and HR for campus recruiting activities and placement details.

  • Oversee execution of Summer inclusion activities (welcoming interns, fireside chats, social events).

  • Executing the lifecycle for the annual in-house MRGR Training Program.

  • Centralizing all applicable learning and training opportunities (Firmwide) for MRGR colleagues.

  • Developing additional training strategies and managing the associated lifecycle activities.

  • Providing logistical help and additional activities.

Required qualifications, Skills and capabilities

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Engineering, or Finance.

  • 3 plus years of professional experience related to financial services, risk management, compliance or legal.

  • Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications.

  • Strong skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft TEAMS and Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of SharePoint.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.

  • Self-motivated, organized and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
