Job Description

Exciting opportunity at MSK: Join our team as aResearch Project Manager, Department of Pediatrics! We’re looking for a dynamic clinical research professional to lead protocol and data operations for our Department of Pediatrics Long Term Follow-Up Program .

Role Overview:

  • Manage the functions and activities of assigned projects within the research organization.

  • Play a key role in the development of contracts for work performed with external collaborators on associated projects.

  • Participate and provide oversight to efforts related to the development of new REDCap databases, existing REDCap databases as well as oversite of existing databases in other platforms (Excel, Access, etc).

  • Assist with high level department projects requiring data management support.

  • Extract, compile, and analyze data to generate reports for leadership.

  • Critically review analyses used for presentations, to confirm validity and accuracy.

  • Provide oversight and support to Clinical Research Coordinator(s), Research Project Associate(s).

  • Collaborate with the clinical research team to ensure databases are capturing all current cases.

  • Have in-depth knowledge of the processes/procedures associated with clinical practice, clinical research and/or a strong information systems expertise in the latest technologies.

  • Ensure that all appropriate Institutional, State, and Federal regulations are followed throughout the course of a project and/or database.

  • Participate in special projects and task forces as determined by management. Support the work of investigators within MSK and Fellows to accomplish research goals.

    Key Qualifications:

  • 2-7 years of experience in clinical research data management and/or other applicable research investigation.

  • 2 years of supervisory experience

    Core Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, REDCap knowledge.

  • Ability to solve problems by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage clinical research projects with strict deadlines.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the regulations pertaining to human subject protection and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

  • Enthusiasm and dedication to MSK's vision, mission and values.

  • Location: 1275 York Ave., NY, NY 10065

  • Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days onsite, 3 days remote

  • Reporting to the Clinical Research Manager

    Pay Range: $88,800.00-$142,200.00
