ConEdison Project Specialist - Protective Systems Testing in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
Associate's Degree Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Energy Technology, Telecommunications Technology or equivalent degree and 8 years of work experience with relay protection systems or equivalent is required or
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or equivalent degree and 6 years of work experience with relay protection systems or equivalent is required or
Master's Degree Electrical Engineering and 4 years of work experience with relay protection systems or equivalent is required
Preferred Education/Experience
- Master's Degree Electrical Engineering and 4 years of work experience with relay protection systems or equivalent is required
Relevant Work Experience
In-depth knowledge of relay software and its applications. Required
2 years' experience scheduling, planning and coordinating meetings, events, and other team functions. Required
Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Required
Must be well organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and able to meet deadlines) Required
Must possess informal leadership and interpersonal skills and have the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred

Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
