Atlas is currently seeking a Project Manager - Building Sciences (Industrial Hygienist 1) to join our growing team in New York City/Manhattan. Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing all the current contracts with NYCHA,
Supervise office and field personnel (lead inspectors and risk assessors and field technicians) to ensure compliance with HUD /EPA regulations and NYCHA’s Procedures
Supervise the progress of the work for all assigned lead inspections and remediation sampling on all lead projects
Provide daily updates on each of the assigned lead projects
Review and transmit testing results and data
Prepare, review, correct and submit Final Closeout Reports for final approval
Attend pre-abatement meetings with the Client
Review results and data to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations, and NYCHA’s requirements, prior to be transmitted to the Client
Perform a quality control review of all correspondence, data and reports to ensure the accuracy, quality and delivery of all required project documents prior to submission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 plus years of experience overseeing lead hazard inspections and/or lead hazard assessment in accordance with HUD and EPA regulations as well as NYCHA procedures.
Must have a Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor Certificate issued by the US EPA.
Knowledgeable in XRF Florescence Analyser use and data downloading.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR.
Technical Requirements:
Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical reporting and written proposals.
Strong project and personnel management skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
- Ability to travel, 10 to 20 % of the time
Compensation:
$95K - $110K Annual Salary. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
