Touro University Program Coordinator, Jewish Education/Special Education Graduate Program in New York, New York
Overview
In coordination with, and with support of the Program Chair, the Program Coordinator provides support of all aspects of the Jewish Education/Special Education Graduate Program. This includes (but is not limited to) planning, recruitment, course development, conference coordination and professional development. More specifically, the Program Coordinator manages all course scheduling, data collection, MOU administration, and all administrative tasks relating to the Jewish Education/Special Education Graduate Program and GSE Operations. This position interacts regularly with all Graduate Jewish Education/Special Education Candidates and Faculty as well as with Jewish Day schools and feeder colleges. This position also interacts with potential candidates.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain databases of candidate and graduate information
Assist adjunct faculty in course development and utilization
Assist faculty in effective use of Canvas platform
Participate in creation of new courses and certificate programs
Assist in all aspects of recruitment of new candidates, including creation of new MOU cohorts and certificate programs
Serve as advisor for candidates
Manage administration of MOU partnership cohorts
Manage operational aspects of all conferences and special programs
Assist with long-range and strategic planning
Assist with all Graduate Jewish Education/Special Education departmental needs
Assist in development of the Graduate Jewish Education/Special Education department as a center for Jewish Education/Special Education
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
Masters degree in Education or related field
5 years of experience in an administrative position
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
Scheduling and curriculum development experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Fluent Hebrew speaking and reading
Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Proficiency in Canvas
Proficiency in TouroOne platform
Proficiency in Zoom and Yuja
Travel
- Some travel within the tri-state area

Maximum Salary
USD $58,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $46,400.00/Yr.
