We are seeking a creative, organized, and reliable individual who will play an integral role in supporting the department, student, faculty, and staff. Particular emphasis will be placed on supporting faculty facing tasks such as onboarding new faculty, distributing and organizing syllabi shells, process reimbursements, and overseeing department social media. A successful candidate will also support our team by maintaining communication with our audiences, creating and promoting events, deadlines via email, responding to inquiries from current and prospective students, and collaboration with the team.
Tasks will include, but not limited to:
Guide new faculty through the onboarding process/site
Create syllabi shell templates as outlined by the office of academic affairs, distribute
to and collect completed templates from the adjunct faculty, and work together with the Academic Director to ensure accuracy and compliance
Onboard suppliers and process invoices in a timely manner for services through iBuy
guide and process faculty and staff through the travel and expense reconciliation process
in Concur and UDW+ oversee and assist with room reservation faculty and staff including the HiHub
- in collaboration with the Program Administrator and the SPS Social Media Working Group,
draft social media posts
assist with faculty payment entries in FAS system
Scheduling, and sending departmental communications via EMMA, Gmail, and other platforms.
Respond to inquiries from and support the Tisch Center students, faculty, and staff
Assist in scheduling current and prospective student appointments when requested via
Google Calendar and Connect
Greet students and serve as a resource to those that visit

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detailed oriented and able to work independently
Reliable/on-time and accountable for the quality of work
Self-starter who is able to work independently
Must be in good academic standing
Sensitive to diverse populations
Able to handle confidential/sensitive data with discretion and use various systems and platforms and navigate and manage complex databases and reports
Remain adaptable and flexible with ongoing changes in priorities and deadlines
