As a strategic thinker in the Production Planning & Raw Material area you develop long term strategies for process and technology optimization, collaborating with the business process owners and local subject matter experts to develop a robust logical roadmap and delivering to the agreed improvements to standardize across the global organization.

What You'll Do

The Production Planning & Raw Material Global Process Owner (GPO) will lead the strategic design, implementation, optimization, integration, governance, orchestration and continuous improvement of all processes and technology for the Production planning, materials management and quality management processes across regions, functions, and OpCo/BU’s for Cytiva Biotechnology Group (BTG) globally. The GPO will be visible, leading and supporting partner for the factory Operations and Supply Chain community, ensuring alignment between end user needs and strategic direction, including organizational requirements.

  1. Process Leadership:
  • Lead the global production planning and raw material management process design and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure policy/process creation with description, including purpose – scope – deliverables – performance measurement – RACI. Liaise with internal and external partners research and advisory companies, Danaher DBSO and other Danaher OpCos) to ensure best-in-class process design and implementation. In collaboration with function leaders, develop and maintain the Standard Work (SW) and templates.

  • Ensure the integration of business processes across all business systems and operations where applicable and appropriate.

  1. Standardization and Optimization:
  • Develop and maintain global standards, policies, and procedures for Production Planning & Raw Material management.

  • Drive process optimization and efficiency initiatives to support business goals.

  • Measure and drive process adoption; drive a process related internal audit / maturity model program; Update processes, policies and training material based on audit / maturity findings and changes in strategy.

  1. Collaboration and Support:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams GPO’s, BPE’s SME’s and business leaders to ensure seamless process execution.

  • Provide expert guidance and support to key stakeholders.

  1. Governance, Audit and Compliance:
  • Based on the Standard Work (SW), ensure proper Visual Management (VM) and Daily Management (DM) is in place with functional owners - bowlers to track key metrics vs improvement targets, supported by Problem Solving (PSP) and Action Plans (AP) to close gaps.

  • Conduct regular process reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.

  • Implement corrective actions to ensure compliance and efficiency.

  1. Change Management:
  • Manage change management activities, including training, communication, and support.

  • Ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems across the organization.

  1. Innovation and Best Practices:
  • Stay current with technology developments and industry best practices.

  • Ensure the company's processes remain relevant, innovative, and effective.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 8+ years of experience with manufacturing operation, production planning and materials management.

  • Proven experience in leading global process implementations and optimizations including influencing and presenting to global stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and integration points, with a focus on planning.

  • Excellent project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • SAP and/or Oracle experience

  • International travel up to 50%

Preferred experience/qualifications:

  • Certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma, APICS Certification, Project management qualification - Prince2, PMP etc.)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environment.

The salary range for this role is $150k - $175k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
