ROLE OVERVIEW

Manage all transactional inputs and outputs of product within multiple ERP systems. Responsible for the operational and financial elements of product to ensure it flows without interruption through the company’s systems to the end consumer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Utilizing a consistent and logical application of business requirements, create and maintain styles in the ERP system and assign appropriate attributes such as season, department, class, and subclass

· Understand the links and interdependencies of product attributes and features as they exist in the ERP system with an eye towards eliminating disruptions in the commercial chain

· Own all product master tables with an eye towards consistency; ensure that they reflect the business and evolve over time

· Create all styles in the ERP system according to consistent syntax and naming conventions

· Maintain all product master tables in a consistent manner that reflects the business need.

· Manage UPC assignment , product weight tables, NRF colors, and HTS codes to ensure against transactional errors in the supply chain

· Maintain product catalogues and interfaces

· Understand every product attribute field in the ERP; determine if unused fields are relevant to transactions and should be populated

· Improve on existing product forms, such as purchase and sales orders, to ensure transactions are properly reflected by the documents exchanged.

· Create all purchase orders for all product made or bought, using multiple ERP’s depending on the channel of purchase.

· Establish criteria and SOP’s for determining whether product should be routed direct-to-store or to DC

· Understand and manage freight terms on the PO’s

· Enter style costing for all products created and purchased, working with the appropriate department to ensure timeliness and accuracy.

· Report on gross margin with respect to seasons, programs, or individual items

· Other responsibilities as assigned

SKILLS, QUALITIES & BEHAVIOURS

· At least 3 years of experience in Apparel Industry

· Particular attention to attributing and system hierarchies in order to support the buying and planning teams with relevant and consistent selling data

· Work closely with Production, Merchandising, Buying, Planning, and Finance

· High business acumen with a “connect the dots” mentality and logical thought process

· Must be highly proficient in Excel

· Must have a critical eye for process and accuracy

· Possess a high sense of urgency

· Fluent in working with multiple departments and various levels

· Critical thinker with an affinity for IT and systems
