Meta Product Design Engineer - AI Infrastructure in New York, New York

Summary:

Want to build cutting-edge AI developer tools? The AI Infrastructure Experiences team designs the tooling and platforms that power Meta’s AI efforts, including model authoring, training, experimentation, deployment, and debugging. This work enables many of Meta’s top AI priorities, including recommendations on Instagram and Facebook, Ads ranking, Generative AI (including Llama), research (FAIR) and more. As a Product Design Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to and influence everything from product strategy, to user experience design, to UI engineering.

Required Skills:

Product Design Engineer - AI Infrastructure Responsibilities:

  1. Define product strategy for a comprehensive suite of AI development tools, covering all stages of model development and deployment

  2. Contribute to product design, specifying how our AI tooling looks and operates in a highly complex and technical space

  3. Directly contribute front-end code, and work with software engineers and designers to launch new tooling capabilities

  4. Work with UX research to understand user issues for AI development workflows, and identify new opportunities for tooling assistance

  5. Support the development of cutting-edge models, such as Llama 4 and beyond

Minimum Qualifications:

  4. 6+ Years of experience with UI design

Public Compensation:

$165,000/year to $231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
