Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) is looking for a Senior Events Marketer to own and run our iconic internal software builder experience event, DevCon. DevCon provides learning opportunities to our internal developer conference (Software Builders as we refer to ourselves at Amazon) focused on leading technology, infrastructure and security topics, builder best practices, career development, and more. DevCon is an essential event with must-view content for every software builder, an opportunity for members and leaders in our software builder community to reach and exchange knowledge with one another, and a prioritized event for the launch of innovations and services benefiting Software Builders. Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) was created to singularly focus on improving the experience for software builders across Amazon. We build solutions for the pain points our software builders experience, preventing them from delivering quickly and innovatively for customers. In particular we are focused on the fact that generative AI has the potential to revolutionize the tools Amazon’s tens of thousands of software builders use to do their work every day, reducing onboarding times, increasing efficiency, removing operational toil, and changing the way we drive broad modernization of our systems. With such a ambitious mission and a broad customer base across the globe, we need a robust marketing team to take the solutions to our builders' doorsteps. ASBX Product Marketing (ASBX PMM) is a team of technology marketers whose mission it is to help drive internal builder tool adoption and change management. To keep our technology ecosystem healthy and as up to date as possible; to better enable security, speed, software builder productivity, and industry standards; ASBX PMM helps to drive and iterate key messaging to customer ICs, managers and leadership. We are ultimately responsible for driving awareness and adoption of key products, tools, and initiatives across Amazon’s technical community, and in so doing, increase awareness of ASBX’s mission to improve and contribute positively to the Amazon software builder experience.
