Job Description Summary:
The pricing function is a key strategic lever to grow and optimize the PayPal business. For this exciting journey we are looking for a strong addition to our SMB Deal Pricing Team. For consumer, merchant and product pricing you will be responsible for local pricing decisions as well as for strategic pricing projects. This will include working closely with the global pricing team and our finance colleagues. Your key stakeholders are the sales and relationship management teams. Analyst - Global Deal Pricing

Job Responsibilities

The Senior Pricing Analyst will report directly to the Director of SMB Pricing. The role will require that the individual supports in:

  • Partnering with the Business Unit to make educated pricing decisions and supporting the growth of the business
  • Providing quantitative and qualitative analysis on new business opportunities and upsells
  • Improving business cases and/or build new models to support new initiatives
  • Supporting strategic pricing projects
  • Providing structure, frameworks and guidelines on pricing topics
  • Aligning and improving processes to increase efficiency and foster faster decision making by benchmarking best practices across Europe
  • Suggesting and implementing new ideas to positively impact pricing performance

Profile

Relevant Pricing experience, preferably in high-growth, global e-commerce companies, consulting, investment banking, or private equity

Pricing and/or financial analysis experience

Successfully completed a Master degree in business administration, science, engineering or equivalent

  • Ideally experience working in a matrix organization and in a global environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, hands-on mentality, team-oriented and results-driven
  • Interest in digital companies, fintechs, knowledge of ecommerce business models
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and notions of Finance/ Accounting; SQL a plus
  • Fluent English, any other languages are a plus
