Job Description:
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join their team for a school for children with developmental disabilities. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children with special needs. You will be working 3 days a week, providing essential physical therapy services to help students improve their mobility, strength, and overall physical well-being. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive and effective therapeutic environment.
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and equipment to enhance students' physical abilities.
Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
Educate and train school staff and parents on exercises and activities to support students' physical development.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.

The salary range for this position is $42-$45/hour
