This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including a 401K with employer contribution. Compensation ranges are for qualified candidates with relevant experience.

Position Summary:

The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, calendaring deadlines, document management, review of documents for responsiveness, organization of documents and compiling information for discovery responses/pleadings/motions, depositions and trial preparation.

As Litigation Paralegal, you will:

  • Prepare documents for attorney review, including letters, forms, presentations, charts and spreadsheets

  • Coordinate with local office services for large copy and binder creation requests

  • Assist with trial preparation including assembling deposition summaries and updating trial exhibits

  • Organize, index and maintain case files

  • Draft various legal documents including transmittal letters, subpoenas and case summaries for attorney review

  • Conduct legal research

  • Gather case related materials including contracts, witness and expert files, and exhibits

  • File documents with government agencies and courts

  • Maintain departmental docketing calendar to ensure timely filings

  • Prepare trial work spaces, including coordinating with IT and outside vendors regarding war room equipment

  • Provide administrative trial support, including maintaining exhibit lists and filing court documents

Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (certificate may be requireed base on region, state or client requirements).

  • At least five (5) years of litigation work experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • Strong Excel skills required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work with large data sets

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities

  • Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours

  • Meet the billable expectation of 1,600 hours per year

  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
