Campari America, LLC NA Production Planning Manager in New York, New York

Job Description: Ensures optimal inventory levels of finished goods to drive optimal availability to meet production plan, effective and continuous supply of goods for US and Mexico and to support the design and the implementation of the most appropriate strategies to improve service level and inventory performance in a sustainable way. Directs and oversees the supply plan, inventory policies, production, capacity planning, co-packing planning, detailed scheduling, intra-region and local deployment and master data management. Responsible for ensuring availability of inventory to meet forecast and order from customers for USA domestic sales as well as for Mexico. Leads, coaches and develops a team in the cluster composed by 3 direct reports and involved on key projects / programs that advance initiatives and develops capabilities supporting Campari’s growth and productivity improvements. Drives and supports the S&OP process and all related supply and inventory process and improvement projects. Leads the S&OP Supply Review and S&OP Plan Alignment in USA and Mexico on Manufacturing supply and serves as a key contributor on the full E2E process. Leads the S&OE meeting for Mexico and co-leads the one in USA (Domestic). Responsible for supply planning on LTP Mexico process, acting as the key go to person on the yearly, monthly and weekly processes. Contributes to achieving sales by ensuring on time and in full supply against production requirements plans at short, medium and long term. Responsible for master data integrity in systems, system and process adherence, coordinating data information flow, set benchmarks, constantly look for ways to reduce costs or improve lead times.Minimum Requirements: The position requires a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management/Sciences or a related field and 8 (eight) years of experience in the job offered or with Supply Planning using SAP APO/SAP IBP, and S4/HANA. In lieu of a master’s degree, will accept a bachelor’s degree and two (2) additional years of stated experience. 6 years of stated experience must include leading production planners and schedulers across multiple countries including proven development. 5 years of stated experience must include long-term production planning experience within the spirits industry. 2 years of stated experience must include Supply Planning, Material Planning, Liquid Planning, Master Data, MRP, Inventory, Production Planning, and advanced planning analytics. Stated experience must include: project management experience implementing an ERP change from SAP APO to SAP IBP; international supply planning management; Senior Project Manager experience including managing multiple projects from business case through approval; deployment of business change programs; design and set-up of planning applications experience in design and set-up of Planning applications (MRP focus) and SAP-BI; corporate and commercial strategies including aged liquids and understanding the volume variances experienced while extracting, global adherence to Liquid Caps and Market Allocations, liquid sequencing for production, production line changeovers and impacts, distillation process for Rums, Tequila, and Bourbons and liquid blending process for Fortified wines, Rum Creams, Dark Rums, and flavored Vodkas.
