Paramount Manager, Pricing & Inventory, Paramount Advertising in New York, New York

Overview & Responsibilities

The Pricing and Planning team is looking for a new Manager to join the team! This Manager will work closely with the groups Senior Vice President and Senior Directors to help develop and implement pricing and sales strategy for our CBS broadcast network. In addition, you will have 2 3 Sales Planners to lead!

Responsibilities:

  • Build media plans for commercial placement in both the Upfront and Scatter marketplaces.

  • Responsible for leading all aspects of stewardship, selling estimates and price lists for CBS Broadcast Television Network in coordination with Planning Management and Sales Daypart VPs.

  • Apply trend analysis for profitability projects in collaboration with the Sales team.

  • Assist Daypart VPs in inventory control and form sales strategies based on financial targets.

  • Use Nielsen ratings along with emerging currencies from VideoAmp, iSpot, and Comscore.

  • Coordinate with Paramount Ad Sales digital for fluidity deals and the Vantage team for addressable advertising.

This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Pricing & Inventory and working hybrid out of the New York office!

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years network pricing & planning experience and/or media buying and/or sales experience

Additional Qualifications

  • Quantitative skills, analytical skills, and critical thinking

  • Strong ability with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Must have the ability to focus and navigate through the ever-changing demands of a fast-paced work environment

  • Must be organized and meticulous

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels across various departments

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $85,000.00 - 97,500.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
