Robert Half Manager, Network Operations in New York, New York

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Manager, Network Operations in the broadcasting industry to join our team in New York. The role involves managing and administering our network infrastructure, which is essential to our broadcasting operations. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth delivery of virtual advertising during live sports events and requires extensive broadcasting-specific networking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic plans for network and IT infrastructure to support operational networks and operating galleries.

• Oversee the administration and ensure robustness and reliability of our broadcast network.

• Implement and manage network solutions for live video streaming and control in a broadcast environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to integrate networking solutions with our virtual advertising technology.

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to optimize network efficiency and quality of service.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.

• Ensure compliance with broadcasting standards, regulations, and Network Security.

• Train and mentor team members in network operations, planning, and best practices in broadcast technology.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in network technology and broadcasting to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Operations management role

• Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Networking and Cisco Routers

• Experience in Broadcast Television is essential

• Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions quickly

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware

• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices

• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols

• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems

• Proven ability to manage a team of network engineers and technicians
