Spotify USA Manager, Latin America Pricing & Inventory in New York, New York

Company HQ: 4 World Trade Center, 150 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007Job Title: Manager, Latin America Pricing & InventoryLocation: Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S. Duties: Understand the various product options available for monetization and improve overall yield across the cumulative product catalog. Understand the actions/tactics that can be taken to increase advertising revenue. Be informed about revenue opportunities and increase revenue as a result. Understand the size of and cost of advertising. Execute future sales contracts and drive revenue. Create new streams of revenue. Manage inventory across all ad products & sales channels for Latin American (LATAM) & new market regions, across commercial, subscriptions, and label business growth. Pull reporting on market inventory availability and analyze key inventory trends. Oversee the pricing and inventory analyst in Brazil. This includes providing them with guidance and support, as well as ensuring that they meet their quarterly/annual goals. Approve all inventory and pricing exceptions that flow through Spotify’s order management system (OMS). Work with senior sales management to plan go-to-market pricing & inventory strategies. Define price evaluations on ad products based on internal historical data and competitive intelligence. Report on pricing and inventory performance to senior management to track the sales department's progress and make necessary adjustments. Responsible for LATAM yield management across various sales channels and ad products. Collaborate with the yield team and head of sales to develop and implement new sales channel strategies for LATAM, with a focus on revenue generation and market opportunities such as podcast and ad studio. Collaborate with LATAM head of sales to evaluate pricing models for revenue improvement. Define pricing strategy for editorial sponsored playlists in top LATAM markets. Collaborate with the podcast team to analyze pricing and inventory for new and existing show renewals. Collaborate with the sales team to analyze and test up-sales pricing strategies using historical and forecasted yield data. Analyze ad inventory historicals and forecasts quarterly to create forecast adjustment models that reflect improved inventory levels. Manage and create custom rate cards in our order management system for all sales teams to access. Collaborate with sales to develop and review joint business rate card plans for guaranteed annual spend against lowered rates. *Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business, Marketing or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Associate’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business, Marketing or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: ad inventory forecasting; ad sales business operations process; sales agency business modeling; utilizing knowledge of online ad products; programmatic buying/selling structure; ad order management systems; creating inventory scripts via Google big query; Google’s ad system infrastructure; and utilizing pricing & buying models.
