Manager, Data Engineer, Gain Theory, LLC, New York, NY. Design and maintain all aspects of data management processes through interacting with data provider to collect, identify, and raise data issues. Develop automated data ingestion with a variety of datasets from multiple sources. Collaborate with internal econometric modeling teams to ensure data quality and business context are preserved in the modeling platforms. Extract and process data to build insights relevant to projects. Ensure all data is systematically checked and pass all quality assurance steps. Provide data insights and efficient troubleshooting data discrepancies for providing permanent resolutions. Serve as the data lead for clients, agencies, as well as internal and cross client initiatives. Troubleshoot data issues, collaborate with stakeholders, and advise client on media targets and traffic. Provide advanced data analysis that display performance trends and support business decisions. Manage junior team members, plan tasks and deliverables and offer solutions to problems where there may be performance issues.40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $140,000/yr.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Marketing, or related fields and two (2) years of related work experience.Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:•Working with a variety of datasets from multiple sources using data processing tools such as SQL or ETL;•Driving robust quality assurance processes;•Advertising ecosystem such as Ad trafficking, Ad servers, DSPs, and/or Media Strategy and Activation; and•Working knowledge of appropriate metrics, measurement, and reporting.Must have experience with/in:•Project management skills including planning tasks and deliverables, managing timelines and risks, managing team resource allocation, and overseeing multiple simultaneous projects;•Leading requirements gathering, project planning, and implementation for both cross functional internal data initiatives and client-side data projects; and•Market Mix Modeling and/or Multi-Touch Attribution solutions.Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) days per week.Please apply by emailing resume to camille.kelley@vml.com referencing job code NY0069.
