FOX Manager, Ad Sales Engagement & Events (R50027390) in New York, New York
The Ad Sales team has a great opportunity for a Manager, Ad Sales Engagements and Events!!! In this exciting position, the Manager, Ad Sales Engagement and Events will partner with the VP, Ad Sales Strategic & Business Initiatives, Engagement & Events on the planning and oversight of small & large-scale Ad Sales events from inception to completion. The Manager, Ad Sales Engagement and Events will also work with the FOX Experience and Design (FED) team to ensure overall execution and success of FED led events by managing event deadlines and deliverables while clearly communicating all event updates to Fox Ad Sales vertical leads. In addition, the Manager, Ad Sales Engagement and Events will lead all aspects of bespoke Executive Ad Sales led events which includes conducting preliminary research, liaising, and negotiating with vendors, and on-site coordination.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the VP on Ad Sales events budgets. Manage event budgets from inception to completion, provide updates, and post events' reconciliation while overseeing vendor relationships, onboard new vendors, and open & complete invoice requests via Coupa
Create and submit all Expense Authorizations promptly, ensuring the budget remains accurate and up to date while keeping Finance abreast of all changes in budgets in real-time
Maintain accurate event documents, reporting, and communications
Respond to all client inquiries quickly and professionally with accuracy to ensure client satisfaction
In conjunction with the VP, manage onsite activations and client programs
Manage all aspects of invitation creation in Canva (including RSVP landing pages, agendas, confirmations, reminders, etc)
Manage all events correspondence which includes attendee list, rooming list, airfare and ground transportation manifest, activity selections, etc.) with accuracy and superior attention to detail
Oversee production and approvals of Save the Dates, Evites, and RSVP correspondence
Act as liaison between clients and all in-house stakeholders, including FED, AV, facilities, outsourced vendors, and Ad Sales vertical leads.
Manage ingoing and outgoing premiums process which includes: developing and creating unique premium ideas, packaging and shipping out premium items, inventory management, and maintaining accurate recipient shipping lists
Manage sales resources for ad sales executives (Portfolio events & client program calendar, inventory tracker, etc.)
Maintain cohesive portfolio client database to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate for easy reference amongst all vertical leads for premiums and client programs
Create and maintain detailed Ad Sales Client date base to curate dossiers for each specific Ad Sales event to be shared with Fox Executives
Assist with all Ad Sales Executive internal events (charitable, team building, award ceremonies, etc., both on and off-site)
Work closely with the Events Coordinator to reconcile all events charges promptly and accurately
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
5-7 years of experience working in corporate events
Strong PowerPoint skills to create event decks with ease and comfort
Strong vendor relationships
Must be available to travel on an as-needed basis
Experience in managing VIPs, C-level executives, and high-profile individuals
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Superior time management skills, multi-tasking abilities, and team-playing skills
Strong budget management and negotiation skills
Ability to accomplish projects independently
Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
Design experience a plus (Photoshop, Canva, Adobe, etc)

Experience doing events in the media industry

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-111,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
