Description
Orur client is a preeminent global law firm. They are looking to add the Associate level Attorney to join their New York office. The team practice litigation and arbitration of complex insurance and commercial disputes and have litigated matters at the trial and appellate levels in both US state and federal courts.
Responsibilities
Prepare pleadings, briefs and other litigation documents
Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients
Conduct legal research
Work on all aspects of pretrial to trial
Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required
Provide appeals and trial support
Requirements
Education and Experience Required
Admitted to practice in New York
4-7 years of litigation experience
Strong academics and solid work history
State and Federal court experience
Skills and Abilities Required
Must possess strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
