Position Description:
CGI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Life Insurance Product Expert with a strong background in product manufacturing/design/analysis. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Life and Annuity products, including comprehensive knowledge of complex product actuarial rules, valuation, projections, interest crediting, administrative rules and other related areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to apply their Life/Annuity product expertise to solve complex and challenging problems and contribute to the growth of the CGI Life/Annuity practice.
This position is located in our Lafayette, LA; Cary, NC; NYC, NY; New Brunswick, NJ or Plymouth Meeting, PA offices, in a hybrid working model.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead the analysis of Life and Annuity products in closed block/runoff businesses.
• Document/clarify business rules and calculations in support of Operations and IT users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify options for simplifying runoff business including consolidation of product/plan codes, manual operations, or replacement products where possible.
• Support analysis and testing of IT systems in collaboration with development/support teams with a focus on financial reconciliation.
• Provide expert insights and technical guidance to internal teams on product-related issues.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proven experience in life insurance product manufacturing, with a focus on IUL/VUL/VA and other complex products.
• In-depth knowledge of actuarial rules, valuation principles, and projection techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex product designs.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the life insurance industry.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Professional actuarial credentials (e.g., ASA, FSA) and/or business credentials (FLMI, ALMI) are strongly preferred.
Desired Skills:
Experience with analyzing legacy books of business and rationalizing product/plan codes for runoff is desired.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200- $234,300.
