FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York is seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer in Information Systems in the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach various courses in the department, including, but not limited to, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Risk Management, Secure Programming, Ethical Hacking, and other courses in Information Systems such as Python Programming, Cloud Computing, and Web Applications Development.

The largest accredited collegiate school of business in the United States, Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business has earned a national and international reputation for excellence. It offers nationally ranked undergraduate, part-time, and full-time MBA programs, specialized masters, and doctoral programs. The Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics offers undergraduate majors and minors in Information Systems (IS) and in Statistics and Quantitative Modeling (SQM). It also offers four specialized MS degrees in IS, Business Analytics, Statistics, and Quantitative Methods & Modeling, as well as a PhD program in IS. It also provides courses for our MBA program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.

Other Qualifications:

A master’s degree in information systems or related areas is highly preferred. They must also demonstrate effectiveness in teaching and other faculty-related service (such as curriculum design, industry engagement, and grant work). Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range $92,878 - $98,309.
