What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience in IT industry and minimum of 6+ years as lead in IT Infrastructure management
- Analyzing, planning, and developing scheduled projects
- Should be able to work on multiple project initiatives and drive it to the closure successfully on/before the schedule.
- Determining and defining clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for all team members involved in the project and documenting it.
- Should have good understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies and tools.
- Should have hands on experience on Planning, designing, and preparing Disaster Recovery Playbook and should have hands on managing DR Exercise.
- Should be strong at IT infrastructure Design and architecture
- Understanding on Cloud technologies and as a services models is good to have.
- Should poses good understanding of IT technologies like servers, Database, networking, Security, Clustering. Middleware and so on....
- Should be familiar and understanding Virtualization technologies like Compute, network, and Storage Virtualization.
- Should have sound knowledge on ITSM framework specifically in Incident, problem, change and Service request management
- Should possess and able to document Business Continuity Plan.
- Should be able to translate and communicate business requirement into Technical language and Viz versa.
- Holding regular technical team meetings to help address any questions or challenges regarding upcoming projects
- Should be good at identify and assess any Risk and be able document and plans to mitigate the risks.
- Should be an Excellent communicator, liaison and able to work under pressure.
What you will be doing:
- Should be able setup technical discussion with various stakeholders at all levels.
- Handles inquiries and resolves issues.
- Project Planning, liaison, and execution
- Managing Disaster recovery exercises at regular intervals
- Able to prepare project documents (planning, design documents and Playbooks).
- Handles Environmental Impact Analysis, Install Plans and Operational Readiness procedures
- Hands on experience in resolved system related issues specifically on Windows/Linux.
- Performs day-to-day production support activities such as web server recycles, troubleshooting issues, etc.
- Determines gaps in procedures/processes and come up with suggestions/recommendation for improvement.
- Assist with Server Network related issues or configurations.
- Develops technical designs that will meet system objectives and minimize the impact on operations
- Performs other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Bonus if you have
- Good in scripting and automation.
- Experience Hadoop and other DBs
- Experience with Splunk.
